OUR BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY VILLA CANTINHO OLIVEIRAS is situated in its own private walled garden giving total privacy to guests and is located 3 miles west of Albufeira, Algarve in a lovely quiet setting only 10/12 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach at Praia da Coelha (Rabbit beach) and close to the popular beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, Praia da Gale and Lourenco, some of the best beaches in Portugal.

Cantinho Oliveiras can be rented with 4 or 5 bedrooms for parties of up to 8 or 10 guests. Several restaurants including O’Marinheiro, Dom Dinis, the small Taberna Sesmarias, Restaurant Sal Maris and several other shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk.

Accommodation at Cantinho Oliveiras

Spacious entrance hall leading to the sitting room with two large glass sliding doors overlooking the swimming pool and terrace. There is an attractive wood burning fire behind a lifting glass panel for early and late season use. Flat screen satellite TV with BBC & ITV programmes.

The kitchen is fitted with fabulous gloss black units, a very attractive feature, and has an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, large American fridge / freezer, and a hatch to the dining room. The washing machine is outside in the barbecue house.

On the ground floor is Bedroom 1 which is a double bedroom, fitted wardrobes and beautifully tiled en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, two basins, WC and bidet.

There is also a guest washroom with WC and basin.

Bedroom 5, also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and only used when the villa is rented with 5 bedrooms. It has fitted wardrobes, its own en-suite shower room with WC and basin, and a door to the garden. This bedroom is locked and not used when Cantinho is rented with 4 bedrooms.

From the spacious hall, a very impressive sweeping staircase in polished black stone leads to the other bedrooms on the first floor.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, small dressing area with fitted wardrobes, a door to its own balcony, and en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and basin.

Bedroom 3 is also a twin bedroom with small dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a door to its own balcony, and en-suite bathroom with bath, WC, bidet and basin.

Bedroom 4 has a double bed, door to its own large balcony, fitted wardrobes, en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and two basins.

From the top landing, there is a door to a large terrace, and steps to the huge roof terrace which enjoys panoramic sea views. A lovely place to enjoy a sundowner.

All Bed linen and towels are provided. Bed linen is changed once per week and towels changed twice per week. Swimming pool towels are also provided.

You will have Free Wi-Fi internet, Air Conditioning and maid service 3 days per week (more if you want).

The whole of the ground floor and garden is on one level making it suitable for the disabled.

Outside

Under another covered area is a ping pong table for guests use.

Holidays before 25 May have pool heating to 28 degrees included and guests are provided with a complimentary welcome food pack.

Car parking for several cars is provided.

Locally

Several restaurants including O’Marinheiro, Dom Dinis, the small Taberna Sesmarias, Restaurant Sal Maris and several other shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk.

At the nearby Gale Beach, you can walk for miles in the direction of the next resort Armacao de Pera, or call at the Salgados Beach Bar for a drink or lunch.

A bus service into Albufeira, and to Gale beach runs from nearby, making our villa suitable for guests without a car. Local taxis are easily available, including some fun Tuk Tuks.

Several restaurants are within easy walking distance including the superb (in our opinion) Restaurant O’Marinheiro. We will also provide you with our informative “Foodies Guide” which will take away any guesswork in choosing restaurants in the area.

Several top attractions nearby are Zoomarine, a full fun day out especially (but not only) for the kids. Here they can watch or swim with dolphins, water slides, zoological attractions, fairground attractions and lots more. Take a look at the Zoomarine website https://www.zoomarine.pt/pt/

Golf is available at the nearby Salgados Golf Course, just 5 minutes from our villa.

Discounted Golf and Club Hire

We can arrange reliable reasonably priced quality car hire at Faro Airport, and private taxi or minibus transfers to the villa.

Rental prices

Our normal change over day is Saturday, but we can consider other days which you can request. We are flexible so please feel free to ask for other days, or even odd duration rentals for 9, 10 or 11 nights, on request. The rental is calculated pro rata for the relevant season.

We get many repeat bookings each year. Cantinho is very popular and gets booked up early, so if you like it but your dates are already taken, please look for other available dates, or one of our other villas at www.algarveagency.com. Although close to the Algarve’s most popular resort Albufeira, we find most of our guests only pay the odd visit into Albufeira, preferring the beauty and peace and quiet of the area around our villas, and its fabulous beaches.
